[Looking unusually worried and sporting a few scratches, Kaworu turns a corner of the hedge maze... right into Akihiko. The shock of the impact sends him stumbling backwards where he lands on his butt.]

[ziosar]

[Akihiko doesn't stumble backwards because his finely tuned battle instincts got him to cross his arms in front of himself right in the nick of time. He braced for impact and managed to hold his ground!

When he sees who collided against him, he's immediately concerned, trying to grab Kaworu's hand to pull him back up]

Is something pursuing you?

[For you to be in such a hurry...something must be right on your heels!]

[peripheries]

I don't know.

[Takes Akihiko's hand and stands, a little shakily, turning to glance behind him.]

I thought I felt something moving through the maze. And the maze itself... it seems to move.

[ziosar]

[Oh! Danger in the maze! Could be important -- and even if it isn't, one might need as much information as possible to be able to warn everyone else.

That's why he doesn't hesitate. Making sure to be nice and nimble, Akihiko prepares himself
]

I'm going in. Get to a safe place, just in case.

[peripheries]

Hey! Wait-!

[Just going to chase after!]

[When you tell someone to go to a safe place, there's like 50% chance they'll instead follow you. Akihiko isn't too surprised Kaworu is following him into the maze, but he's kind of concerned]

Are you sure you want to come along? You seemed panicked.

[Apparently he's interpreting this as Kaworu deciding to tag along and face the horrors of the labyrinth, instead of anything else such as for example Kaworu trying to stop him from going into danger.

He's got no idea what's in this maze, but he's not afraid!]
