[Just kinda... flopped in the tavern. Hands crossed over his stomach, staring at the ceiling.

This was a safe space.]

[ eupha has also been chilling in here. her snake friend is here too, curled across her shoulders. her left arm is bandaged but her complexion looks a little better than it did yesterday.

she will come over to take a look at kaworu. ]

... Are you all right?

I know it doesn't make any sense, but part of me wished we were safe here.

[Just little baby thoughts.]

... I would have liked that, too.

I believe that we will be able to save them. But... there may yet be more pain that we will all endure before that day comes.

[peripheries]

So many believe they can be saved.

Why?

[trifocal]

Well... They are in a safe place now, one that is not far from us. And little by little, we have found ways to reach to them.

I have faith that we will find a way to fully cross that divide before long.

[peripheries]

But I miss them. Faith doesn't fill that void.

[just like a kid that's sincere but also bratty.]

Perhaps not.

The letters help, I think. Being able to hear from them in some way, to know that they still carry on.

I haven't decided if they help yet. But... it is good if they help you.

... If you could go and see one of them now, who would you choose?

I don't know... Akihiko, perhaps. I didn't know him as well as Yves but I want to know he's alright after what happened.
